F1 2014 – Boullier: Everything “fine” at Lotus, Other teams will miss opening test

Lotus team Principal Eric Boullier believes more teams could miss the opening pre-season test as teams rush to meet the tight deadlines and new regulations. Boullier insists Lotus missing the first test is not a sign of things to come and that the teams future is secured on the grid for many years to come.Boullier told BBC sport 'You will see, we will not be the only team not being in Jerez. I know this for a fact already.'We already said a month ago that it is going to be tight. Actually most of the teams agreed it was going to be tight. Then it was a decision we took.'It is true the car will not be ready on time, but we will be ready shortly after that – and in some ways, it is not bad...
