'Double points totally, utterly wrong'

Former Champ John Surtees says the new double points rule goes against the "true spirit" as it would "artificially" manipulates the Championship. For this year's Championship double points will be awarded at the final race in Abu Dhabi in a bid to keep the title race alive to the final hurdle. The decision, though, has not gone down well with many. "It must be purely a commercial gimmick," Surtees, the 1964 World Champion, told NBC's MotorSportsTalk.
