Wolff: No testing bloodbath

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff admits there will be teething problems during pre-season testing this year, but he has dismissed suggestions of a possible "bloodbath". With new regulations coming into effect at the start of the 2014 campaign, teams, drivers, engineers and just about everyone else will have plenty to learn during testing. The first winter test gets underway at Jerez, Spain, on January 28 and many believe quite a few teams will struggle on the opening few days as they come to grips with the rules.
