Remember when Toyota launched the TF109 on January 15 2009? Read all about it - HERE in our latest #TBT piece.Toyota went into 2009 with high hopes, but despite taking five podiums - including two second place finishes near the end of the campaign in Singapore and Japan - (picture is of Jarno Trulli in action in Brazil, the team's penultimate race) - it wasn't enough, with the Japanese manufacturer pulling the plug on its F1 programme at the end of the year. The decision brought to a close a short and largely unsuccessful eight season stint at the pinnacle of the sport...#ThrowbackThursday #TBT
