Ron Dennis to return as McLaren CEO

Ron Dennis is to set to return as the Chief Executive Officer of the McLaren Group, with a mission to improve the teams “on-track and off-track performance.” Dennis held the same role between 1982 and 2012, before he was appointed as Chairman of the McLaren Group in 2013, with Martin Whitmarsh taking up the position as CEO. It is unknown how the appointment of Dennis as Chief Executive Officer will affect Whitmarsh’s position within the McLaren group.
