Ron Dennis returns as CEO of McLaren

Ron Dennis has returned at the helm of McLaren Group by taking up the role of Group Chief Executive Officer with the aim of improving the team's on-track performances. Dennis will combine the CEO role with his position as Chairman and says he will carry out a thorough review of the company's businesses to help McLaren 'win at whatever we do'. The company's statement remains silent of the role of Martin Whitmarsh who has been the team principal since 2009 and also acted as CEO since 2012.
