Hungaroring boss says money is needed for upgrades 19 January, 2014 Hungaroring pit lane and garages The Hungaroring needs an urgent cash injection of more than 3 million to bring the track up to standard. That is the claim of the Budapest track's boss Zsolt Gyulay, despite the fact the Formula 1 circuit renewed its contract to annually host the Hungarian Grand Prix last year. But Gyulay told Hungarian television and the state news agency MTI that the Hungaroring needs money immediately in order to comply with its modernisation plan, beginning in 2014.
