Kobayashi returns, to partner rookie at Caterham in 2014

Kamui Kobayashi will return to Formula One after a year’s absence this season after Caterham named him as its driver for 2014 along with rookie Marcus Ericsson. The fully revamped line-up at Caterham, which fielded Charles Pic and Giedo van der Garde in 2013, is completed by reserves Robin Frijns and Alexander Rossi. Kobayashi last raced for Sauber in 2012 following which he raced for Ferrari in sportscars. Rossi has been retained from the preceding season in the same role when is not racing in GP2.
