James Hunt to join Motor Sport Hall of Fame

Former F1 champion James Hunt will be one of the inductees into the Motor Sport Hall of Fame during a ceremony next week.In a break with tradition, the news was announced ahead of the event, which will take place at the Royal Opera House on Wednesday 29 January.Hunt will be one of four racing legends to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on the night, where he will join the likes of Ayrton Senna, John Surtees, Colin McRae and Giacamo Agostini.“James Hunt belongs in rarified company as a great British sporting hero who transcended the arena that made him famous to become a genuine national – if not global – icon,” Motor Sport editor Damien Smith said. “During the 1970s you didn't...
