Despite completing just seven laps on the first day of winter testing, Esteban Gutierrez says it was important for the team to get some running completed. It was a quiet opening test day for all teams, with mechanical gremlins causing many to lose track time. Raikkonen ended the day on the top of the timesheets, but he also completed the most laps.
