Pirelli change wet tyre test day to Wednesday and scrap Friday wet run 29 January, 2014 Esteban Gutierrez and Kimi Raikkonen test in the wet Formula 1’s official tyre supplier Pirelli has brought forward to today (Wednesday) its wet weather tyre evaluation day following overnight rain at  Jerez de la Frontera where teams have gathered for the first pre-season test.. The 2014 regulations stipulate that one of the 12 pre-season test days must be dedicated to Pirelli wet weather tyre testing. The Italian tyre manufacturer had earmarked Friday at Jerez for this purpose, however damp conditions over southern Spain prompted Pirelli to alter the test day. Jenson Button drives the McLaren...
