Solid base to build upon, says Button

– Jenson Button says McLaren has a "solid base to build upon" with its new MP4-29 chassis. Having been unable to complete any mileage on the opening day of this week's Jerez test due to persistent electrical issues, the Briton enjoyed a much smoother Wednesday, racking up a grand total of 43 laps. He also set the pace with a time of 1:24.165, over six tenths faster than nearest competitor Kimi Räikkönen.
