Magnussen pleased with McLaren mileage

evin Magnussen says he is encouraged by the reliability McLaren has shown at this week's opening pre-season test at Jerez. Although the Woking-based outfit failed to run on the first day, with initial electrical issues affecting the preparation of the MP4-29, Jenson Button racked up 83 laps over the following day and a half, with Magnussen adding 52 more during his first stint at the wheel this afternoon. "Everything worked as it should, and the car felt good," said Magnussen, who also topped the day's timesheets.
