Renault 'extremely confident' of fixing issues

Renault are confident that the engine problems Red Bull have experienced in Jerez will be resolved by the next test in Bahrain. Having managed just 14 laps in three days, reigning World Champions Red Bull Racing have found themselves on the back foot in pre-season testing. Blighted by several issues, some belonging to the team and others to engine supplier Renault, technical director Adrian Newey has reportedly left Jerez to go back to the drawing board. And while he is doing what he can to find a solution, Renault will be resolving their own issues. "We are extremely confident that the problems we have experienced can be dealt with," engine chief Rob White told Autosport....
