Ricciardo: Mercedes could be a second off the pace...
Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo has played down the fact Mercedes managed to do so many laps this week during the opening 2014 F1 pre-season test at Jerez in Spain.Red Bull and Renault had a dismal time, and in total the Renault powered teams did just 151 tours, compared to the 875 managed by Mercedes [for a full statistical analysis of the week's test - CLICK HERE].Asked about the fact Mercedes managed more than five times as many laps as Renault and if this adds to the pressure, Ricciardo said he wasn't particularly concerned: “I don't think it adds pressure,” he confirmed to reporters, including Crash.net. “I didn't look so much [at what they were doing],” he added. “I...
