Abiteboul: Renault progress imperative

aterham F1 team boss Cyril Abiteboul has admitted it is 'imperative' Renault make 'significant progress in all areas of engine performance and reliability' in the wake of what happened in Jerez last week, scene of the opening test of the year. All the Renault-powered teams had problems and while Caterham did do the most laps of the three teams using units from the Regie - 76 tours compared to just 54 for Toro Rosso and only 21 for Red Bull – the fact remains the French manufacturer is very much on the backfoot. Abiteboul, however, has confidence Renault will get it right and has promised Caterham will do all it can to help. “I’m pleased for the whole team that we managed to finish...
