GP2 Team Principal passes away
Russian Time have confirmed that their Team Principal Igor Mazepa has passed away aged 40.Born in 1973, Mazepa entered GP2 with his team last year, winning the Teams' Championship in their maiden season and narrowly missing out on the drivers' crown with Sam Bird and the team will expand into GP3 in 2014.
"Very sad to announce that Russian Time Team Principal Igor Mazepa has passed away - R.I.P.", the team said on Twitter.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. We wish them strength in this difficult time."
