Räikkönen manager David Robertson dies

– David Robertson, part of Kimi Räikkönen's long-time management team, has died at the age of 70. Robertson, who managed the Finn alongside son Steve, had been suffering from cancer of the larynx. He began to work with Räikkönen at the start of the 2001 Formula 1 season, when the Finn made his Grand Prix debut with the Sauber team, and also helped Jenson Button to reach the top echelon the previous year. Before Robertson's death, an agreement was signed with MB Partners, the global sports agency of ex Formula 1 and CART driver Mark Blundell, to take control of Räikkönen's commercial rights in future seasons.
