Renault: Upgrades validated

Renault say the changes put in place for their troubled turbo power unit were "validated" during engine customer Lotus's promotional filming session at Jerez over the weekend.The French engine builder endured a torrid testing debut with their all-new V6 unit and energy recovery systems in southern Spain when the teams they supply that were in action - Lotus sat the test out - completed a meagre 151 laps between them.
