Lotus frustrated by lack of running

Romain Grosjean is confident that the early problems with the new Lotus E22 can be solved, after a difficult first day in the car at the second winter test in Bahrain. The Frenchman gave the car its public debut on the opening day of the test, but energy store issues with the new Renault V6 Turbo power-unit meant he could only complete eight laps. 'I didn’t have too much work to do today and I certainly had fewer laps than scheduled in the car, but it was still great to get out on track for the first time in the E22,' he admitted. 'For me personally it felt good to be back behind the wheel but some issues held us back today. I’m confident that we’ll put today’s problems behind us...
