Frijns to sit out second Bahrain test

Robin Frijns will sit out the final pre-season F1 test of the year in Bahrain after Caterham elected to make use of race drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson for the upcoming four day session at the Sakhir circuit.Frijns had been given the chance to drive the new T03 at both Jerez and then in Bahrain last week but will now watch on from the sidelines in the final session of the winter.Writing on Twitter however, Frijns' manager Timo Gans said there was 'no reason to be sad' at seeing the Dutch driver miss out on additional track time and said it was 'unique' for his man to be given the chance to test the car without paying for the privilege. “Unfortunately @RFrijns will not be...
