Magnussen says he is ready as can be for his grand prix debut 2 March, 2014 Kevin Magnussen The outstanding rookie of the preseason has to be Kevin Magnussen who impressed in his early days as a fully fledged Formula 1 driver, he was undoubtedly helped by the fact that McLaren and Mercedes had their act together and as a result he believes he is as ready as can be for his grand prix debut.
Speaking after his final testing stint in Bahrain, Magnussen said, 'I am ready and I am really looking forward to it. It is a fantastic feeling to know that the next time in the car will be a grand prix – and I’m there!'
