Melbourne Free Practice 2: Hamilton tops as Mercedes show their hot preseason pace

After a forgettable morning session in Melbourne, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes turned things around by topping the timing screens at the end of the second free practice of the Australian Grand Prix weekend, with teammate Nico Rosberg second fastest, giving credence to the preseason favourites label that has been tagged to the Silver Arrows duo since testing in Bahrain.
