Jean-Eric Vergne full of praise for Toro Rosso after competitive qualifying result

Jean-Eric Vergne has expressed praise for his Toro Rosso outfit, after the team managed to propel both the Frenchman his rookie team-mate Daniil Kvyat into the top ten shootout during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. The duo qualified 6th and 8th respectively, despite a troubled start to their weekend with brake issues on the new STR8 machine. Throughout the early stages of the weekend both Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat were witnessed struggling with the brakes on their Toro Rosso, with duo making numerous excursions through the gravel trap during the opening two practice sessions on Friday.
