Ecclestone: Engine sound 'better than we thought'

Bernie Ecclestone says Formula 1′s new sound is better than he expected after hearing the cars in action for the first time during practice for this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. The 83-year-old wasn't at the season opener in Australia but, after watching the race from home, said he was 'horrified' by the lower volume of the new V6 Turbo power-units. Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel was similarly critical about the engine sound when speaking to media at the Sepang International Circuit on Thursday.
