More power unit issues hit Lotus

Pastor Maldonado said it was power unit issues that were again at the centre of Lotus' problems during practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix.Having struggled at the Australian Grand Prix, both cars failed to finish the race in Melbourne but gathered data after issues in pre-season testing. Having had two weeks to work on the car and with Renault, Lotus still suffered another bad day on Friday at Sepang as it managed just 20 laps in total between both cars.Maldonado confirmed that the problems were once again related to the Renault power unit but retained his optimism that the car can run smoothly on Saturday.Asked by Crash.net in Malaysia where the issues were centred, Maldonado replied:...
