Robin Frijns says his inaugural Friday practice when as planned as he completed the full program that Caterham had asked of him. The 22-year-old was in action for Caterham in Friday's first practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix and complete 35 laps. His best time for the session, a 1:42.417, was three-tenths quicker than regular driver Marcus Ericsson with Frijns revealing that the car had progressed since he last ran it in the pre-season.
