British GP officially launches Fans' Thursday

– Silverstone will open its Formula 1 pit lane to fans on the Thursday ahead of this year's British Grand Prix, it has been officially confirmed, in a new initiative dubbed 'Fan's Thursday'. It is the first time ever Silverstone has done this and it is being done as part of the celebrations to mark the 50th Grand Prix to be held at the circuit. "This will be free to all fans holding a three day ticket to the British Grand Prix," organisers explained, after the initial announcement was made on April 4. "There will be five Pit Lane Walkabouts over the course of the day. A limited number of tickets are available for each Walkabout and will be allocated on the day....
