New head of aero at Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing has appointed a new head of aerodynamics, as Peter Prodromou steps down from active duties in preparation for his move to McLaren. McLaren confirmed last October that it had recruited Prodromou from the four-time constructors' champions. He previously worked for the Woking-based outfit between 1991 and 2005, before following Adrian Newey to Red Bull in 2006. In a statement, Red Bull said Prodromou has 'commenced a period of gardening leave' and the team 'would like to thank him for his valuable contribution during his time with the team.'
