Bernie: No simple solution to noise

Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed Mercedes are supporting F1's plans to increase noise levels even though it could negate their advantage. Mercedes have dominated this year's Championship, taking three pole positions and three race wins - including back-to-back 1-2 finishes - on their way to a 67-point lead in the Championship. But while Mercedes are undoubtedly loving this year's new regulations, many fans are not. Having voiced their unhappiness, Formula one has paid attention and announced in Bahrain that steps would be taking to up the volume. Ecclestone, though, has warned that it won't be a quick fix.
