Rosberg proud to silence F1 critics

Drivers' Championship leader Nico Rosberg has admitted that he is pleased to have played a role in silencing the critics of Formula One by producing an exciting Bahrain Grand Prix last week. FIA President Jean Todt, F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone as well as Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo were all present at Sakhir last weekend to discuss the future of the sport. With several of the sport's bigwigs in the stands, Rosberg and his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton battled for top spot throughout the race and even though the Briton triumphed in the end, Rosberg admitted that he was thrilled to have been involved in such an exhilarating race.
