Pirelli announce tyre nominations for Spain, Monaco and Canada
Formula 1′s type supplier Pirelli has announced the tyre choices for the Spanish, Monaco and Canadian Grands Prix.
The orange-banded hard and white-marked medium compounds will be taken to the fifth round of the 2014 season in Spain, which will take place at the highly demanding Circuit de Catalunya.
For the following race in Monaco, the two softest tyres will be used. The street track is the slowest on the calendar and relies heavily on mechanical grip.
The yellow-marked soft and red super-soft compounds will also be taken to the Canadian Grand Prix, which is held at the semi-permanent Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
