WMSC meets in Morocco

At its meeting in Marrakech, the FIA WMSC agreed a study on F1 engine noise and a meeting with the teams on cost reduction.In addition to approving the entry for Gene Haas in the 2015 Formula One World Championship, the WMSC announced a study on engine noise the preliminary results of which will be announced shortly.The move follows widespread complaints about the new sound of F1 not only from the Commercial Rights Holder and fans but race promoters concerned that the new sound might result in poor ticket sales.In terms of cost reduction, the FIA, the Commercial Rights Holder and all the teams have confirmed their commitment to work on cost reduction.
