Dennis behind Magnussen signing

Ron Dennis is patting himself on the back for his decision to sign Kevin Magnussen, which has already yielded on podium finish. The McLaren rookie made a sensational debut in Australia, bringing his MP4-29 home in third place which later became second when Daniel Ricciardo was disqualied. It was an impressive showing from the Dane, who - although has made one or two mistakes since - has helped McLaren to third in the Constructors' Championship. And one man who is happy with that is Dennis, who revealed he decided McLaren would sign Magnussen even months before he returned to lead the team.
