Singapore Airlines to sponsor Grand Prix

– Singapore Airlines has signed a deal to become the title sponsor of the Singapore Grand Prix. The company replaces telecommunications company SingTel, which had sponsored the race since 2008. "We are thrilled to be taking up the title sponsorship of one of the most exciting races on the F1 calendar, and we are especially pleased to be doing so in the lead-up to Singapore's 50th birthday next year," Mr Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, said of the agreement, which is initially scheduled to run for two seasons.
