Plans for championship with ex-F1 drivers

– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone is planning to set up a championship for former Grand Prix drivers. Earlier this year, Formula One Licensing filed an application to protect the name Historic Formula One. If the plan comes to fruition, F1 would match other major sports such as tennis and golf in having an official senior series. "We have talked about it and it is something we ought to do," Ecclestone explained to the Wall Street Journal when quizzed about his plans for the new category.
