Grosjean hoped for even higher grid slot

– Romain Grosjean says he had hoped for even more than his 10th place result in Saturday's qualifying session for the Chinese Grand Prix. The Lotus driver, who gave the Enstone-based team its first Q3 showing of the season, finished at the foot of the pile in the final shootout. While he admitted to being pleased about his performance, he felt a stronger position was possible after finishing third in final practice. "We have made good progress this weekend," Grosjean commented. "Things went better this morning than in qualifying this afternoon and so we maybe had even higher hopes.
