Tough luck for Sebastian Vettel as team orders resurface at Red Bull

Sebastian Vettel’s Chinese Grand Prix was plagued by not only a lack of pace in his Red Bull in comparison to Mercedes, Fernando Alonso and Daniel Ricciardo, but also by yet another instance of role reversal with team orders after he was instructed during the middle stages of the 56-lap race to allow Daniel Ricciardo through. However, the reigning World Champion once again failed to adhere to the team’s instructions, forcing the duo to engage in an enticing on-track battle for 4th position.
