Webber begins WEC career with podium

– Former F1 winner Mark Webber 'dodged a few bullets' and took a podium on his debut with Porsche in the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship at Silverstone last weekend. Webber and team-mates Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley eventually brought the Porsche 919 Hybrid home in third place, behind the Toyota TS040 Hybrid's of Sébastien Buemi, Anthony Davidson and Nicolas Lapierre in first and Alex Wurz, Stephane Sarrazin and Kazuki Nakajima in second.
