Boullier: Magnussen on normal rookie path

– Kevin Magnussen's challenging run of races since recording a podium finish on his Formula 1 debut is nothing for McLaren to be overly concerned about, the outfit's Racing Director, Eric Boullier, has argued. Magnussen hit the ground running at the Australian Grand Prix, coming home third before being promoted to second position when Red Bull rival Daniel Ricciardo was excluded from the results over a fuel flow breach. But he has only scored two more points, getting involved in first lap clashes with Ferrari's Kimi Räikkönen in Malaysia and Bahrain before McLaren's lack of performance limited him to a 13th place result in China.
