Senna 'wanted to end his career at Ferrari' – Montezemolo

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has revealed that Ayrton Senna wanted to end his Formula 1 career at Ferrari and says a deal was talked about just days before he lost his life at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. Thursday will mark the 20th anniversary of the Brazilian's tragic death. At the time, he was racing in his first season for the Williams outfit and was chasing his fourth world title. 'He wanted to come to Ferrari and I wanted him in the team,' di Montezemolo told the official Ferrari website.
