Giedo van der Garde handed third FP1 run

– Sauber test and reserve driver Giedo van der Garde will take part in the opening practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix next week, it has been confirmed. The Dutchman will use Esteban Gutiérrez's Ferrari-powered C33, before the Mexican takes back his car for FP2 and the rest of the weekend, the fifth round in the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship. It will be van der Garde's third outing in practice this season, having also been out in China and Bahrain. He will then take part in the post-race test at the Circuit de Catalunya too, running on the Tuesday - the opening day. Gutiérrez will drive on the Wednesday.
