Pirelli aiming to avoid 2013 Spain repeat

Paul Hembery admits Pirelli will be disappointed if drivers need to stop four times in the Spanish Grand Prix. The 2013 race in Barcelona saw Fernando Alonso ease to victory on a four-stop strategy ahead of the three-stopping Kimi Raikkonen, and despite it being a popular home victory Hembery said at the time that strategy had played too big a role with so many stops.
