Mercedes confirms use of sports psychologist

Toto Wolff with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg Formula 1 championship pace setters Mercedes have confirmed reports they are now working with a sports psychologist. The Telegraph newspaper this week reported that former professional soccer player Dr Ceri Evans, who also worked with New Zealand's ‘All Blacks' during the rugby team's world cup triumph, was at the Chinese Grand Prix last month. Correspondent Daniel Johnson said Evans, 50, observed and assessed engineers and mechanics at work, but not the race drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.
