BRDC terminates Silverstone sale talks

The British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) has announced that it has terminated negotiations with a second potential investor in Silverstone. Having confirmed in September of last year that it had completed a 999-year lease with investor MEPC for Silverstone Industrial Estate and development land outside of the circuit, the BRDC has been working to find further investment by leasing the circuit land and selling off Silverstone Circuits Limited (SCL).
