Nico Rosberg emerged as the fastest driver in the third and final practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix on Friday edging his dominant teammate Lewis Hamilton by a considerable margin. Rosberg was eight-tenths quicker than Hamilton and a whopping 1.3 seconds faster than the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso, who slotted in third in front of his home fans. The gap between the Mercedes pair suggests that Hamilton didn’t set a quick time.
