Ricciardo delivers in qualifying as Vettel hits trouble

Sebastian Vettel was left stranded by his faulty car during qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix on Saturday leaving his teammate Daniel Ricciardo to deliver the goods for Red Bull. Vettel's car rolled to a halt during Friday's first practice session, and it failed him again early in the third leg of qualifying. The struggling champion will start Sunday's race from tenth on the grid. As Vettel's troubles mounted, new partner Ricciardo finished with the third fastest time taking on the mantle of being the best of the rest behind the dominant Mercedes team.
