More disappointment for McLaren

The Spanish Grand Prix marked McLaren's third consecutive race without a points finish after Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen took the chequered flag in 11th and 12th. It is McLaren's worst run since 2009, when the Woking-based outfit failed to score a point in Spain, Monaco, Turkey and Great Britain. The team had been confident of making steps forward prior to the race weekend after a poor performance in China. Slight improvements were made, but it was not the big jump that McLaren wanted.
