Alonso: Ferrari in a battle for second

Fernando Alonso has admitted that there is no way for Ferrari to catch Mercedes in the Constructors' Championship and that finishing second is now their objective. The two-time Drivers' Championship winner and his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen finished in sixth and seventh during in last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, where Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg completed their fourth consecutive one-two finish of the year. "We need to do better. Mercedes is out of reach, but we have potential to catch the other teams so second position is our target," Alonso told Autosport.
