Frijns misses out due to Kobayashi crash

– Caterham reserve driver Robin Frijns will not test for the team today as originally planned after regular racer Kamui Kobayashi crashed the CT05 at the end of the first day of running on Tuesday. Kobayashi was sampling some altered settings which affected the balance of the car and resulted in the Japanese driver hitting the wall at Turn 3. "Having assessed the damage to chassis CT05-#03 after Kamui's accident yesterday in the final half hour of T05 day one we have decided not to run on day two," read a Caterham statement. "While obviously not ideal, this ensures the team can now focus on the next Grand Prix in Monaco, starting next week."
